About Us:
At the age of 10, our son was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. We read everything available on the disease, consulted with nutritionalists and doctors and realized that the market place offered very little choices for consumers requiring this special diet and what was available didn’t taste very good at all.
It was then that we promised our son that we would create a gluten free flour mix and recipes for his favorite foods that tasted great and were nutritious. With a little work and a lot of spoiled batches we have fulfilled that promise with the creation of “Karen’s Originals”.
Our Kitchen is dedicated to wheat free and gluten free baking to eliminate the possibility of contamination by gluten and has been approved by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Please give us a try.
